Gael Schaefer (writer/performer) is an actor and writer. No Better News is her first solo show. She has also written two full-length screenplays, a television pilot, two short plays, and a web series pilot. Acting credits include Counsellor-at-Law with John Rubinstein, A Wilder Christmas with the award-winning Peccadillo Theater Company, Moon Over Buffalo, Over the River and Through the Woods, Leading Ladies, The Wedding Singer, Souvenir, Sister Mary Ignatius Explains It All For You, Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Steel Magnolias, and The Man Who Came To Dinner with Tony Randall. Ria T. DiLullo (director), the founder and artistic director of The Skeleton Rep(resents), has directed and produced over a dozen full length shows, led development on scores of new scripts, had their hand in a multitude of solo shows and short play festivals, as well as creating and producing video-based narratives. Ria is also a movement coach specializing in holistic movement and nervous system health, certified with extensive virtual and in-person teaching experience in both mat and apparatus Pilates, including a strong background in athletics and experience in many movement-based theatrical practices.
